In February 2021, the overall monitoring indicator changed to the “red” signal from the “yellow-red” signal last month, as the total score increased three points to 40. The trend-adjusted leading index increased for ten consecutive months and the coincident index increased for nine consecutive months, the government will be closely monitoring the economic situation.
The Monitoring Indicators
- The total score in February 2021 was 40, flashing the “red” signal, which increased 3 points from 37 last month.
Leading Indicators
- The trend-adjusted leading index increased by 0.52% in February 2021 to 106.69, rising for ten consecutive months.
Coincident Indicators
- The trend-adjusted coincident index increased by 1.35% in February 2021 to 106.80, rising for nine consecutive months.
Lagging Indicators
- The trend-adjusted lagging index increased by 0.59% in February 2021 to 100.34, rising for six consecutive months.
