The Taiwan manufacturing sector contracted for three consecutive months as the seasonally adjusted Taiwan Manufacturing PMI registered 47.2 percent in June, up from the lowest reading of 44.8 percent since July 2012. The Taiwan NMI increased 8.8 percentage points to 54.0 percent in June, indicating a resumption of growth in non-manufacturing sector following four months of contraction.
