The Taiwan manufacturing sector continuously contracted at the fastest pace since July 2012, when this index was firstly compiled, as the seasonally adjusted Taiwan Manufacturing PMI further fell 2.8 percentage points to 44.8 percent in May.The non-manufacturing sector continued to struggle and remained in contraction for four consecutive months, while the Taiwan NMI Index increased 2.7 percentage points to 45.2 percent.
