The manufacturing sector expanded at a slower rate as the seasonally adjusted Taiwan Manufacturing PMI fell 4.9 percentage points to 51.3 percent in January 2020. The non-manufacturing sector expanded for eleven consecutive months as the Taiwan NMI increased 0.9 percentage point to 55.0 percent in January 2020.
