In December 2019, the overall monitoring indicator continued to flash the “green” signal, as the total score increased three points to 27. The trend-adjusted leading index increased for twelve consecutive months and the coincident index increased for eight consecutive months, the government will be closely monitoring the economic situation.
The Monitoring Indicators
  • The total score in December 2019 was 27, flashing the “green” signal, which increased 3 points from 24 last month.
Leading Indicators
  • The trend-adjusted leading index increased by 0.07% in December 2019 to 102.15, rising for twelve consecutive months.
Coincident Indicators
  • The trend-adjusted coincident index increased by 0.51% in December 2019 to 101.40, rising for eight consecutive months.
Lagging Indicators
  • The trend-adjusted lagging index declined by 0.36% in December 2019 to 98.17, falling for eleven consecutive months.
