Plan for Inter-ministerial Meetings on Boosting Investment in Taiwan

1.Meeting Times: Inter-ministerial Meetings on Boosting Investment in Taiwan will be held once every two to three weeks.

2. Issues: Meetings will be held to address the issues relating to promotion of private investment, implementation of public infrastructure investment, private participation in infrastructure projects, etc.

3. How Meetings will be Held: Each meeting will deal with two or three topics or cases relating to investment issues faced by Taiwan, clarifying problems, looking for solutions, and pushing the implementation of these solutions. In addition, follow-up reports will be made about resolutions from the previous meetings.

4. Invited Participants: Representatives of relevant ministries and agencies will be invited to each meeting according to the issues that will be discussed and need to be solved.

5. Unit Responsible for Meetings: Inter-ministerial Meetings on Boosting Investment in Taiwan are organized by the National Development Council(NDC). The minister of NDC would convene a preview meeting to discuss the inter-ministerial coordination issues and defuse problems in advance if necessary.
